POLICE discovered a cocaine laboratory in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa and broke up a drug-trafficking group.
National Police investigators had been on the trail of the group, which operated in Fuengirola, Mijas and Marbella, for some time and found 2,228 grammes of cocaine, 2,349 grammes of cutting substance and 92 grammes of hashish during searches on four properties.
Thirteen people (eight men and five women) were arrested and four of them sent straight to jail by a judge.
Tools used to cut and prepare drugs, €3,145 and $204 in cash, two luxury cars, items of jewellery and mobile phones were confiscated along with the drugs.
