AS part of Costa de Almeria’s ongoing drive for tourism, Almeria City played host to a delegation from Estonian Television (ETV).
The press trip request came via Turismo Andaluz while on a trip organised by the Spanish Tourist Board in Helsinki, Finland.
The representatives from Estonian National Television have toured various parts of Andalucia before heading to Almeria and enjoying the sights the area has to offer.
The objective of the press trip was to record a special half hour episode of Travel With Me which airs on ETV on March 7. The Almeria episode will feature some of the province’s best known areas including Cabo de Gata.
The crew also toured the capital, taking time to pose with the John Lennon statue outside the Hotel Torreluz before heading to Plaza Vieja and the Heritage Interpretation Centre, a building which uses four floors to display information about Almeria throughout its Muslim, Christian and modern history.
The Heritage Centre has a panoramic terrace with views across the city including the Alcazaba.
