TWO masked men broke into a lottery kiosk in Catral.

The men broke in by making a hole in the roof of the building and descended into the premises by rope. Covering their faces with balaclavas, they broke the security cameras but not before the CCTV cameras captured some images, which are now being analysed by police investigating the robbery.

It has not yet been confirmed how much money was stolen from the lottery kiosk number one, known as ‘La Esperanza.’

During the last two months there has been a wave of robberies in different municipalities of the Vega Baja with police investigating incidents at least five petrol stations, another lottery office in La Murada, a shop in Torrevieja and several homes.
