No traffic worries with Mallorca’s new app

PALMA COUNCIL has created MobiPalma, a free app that provides users with information on roads, parking, and public transport in real time.

Head of the Mobility Department, Gabriel Vallejo, presented the new APP and commented: “It will make it easier, both for residents and tourists, to access mobility services in Palma.”

The app can be downloaded on smartphones and tablets, and it is available in Catalan, Spanish and English, and will soon be available in German.

“The app is designed for anyone to use,” said Mr Vallejo.

Amongst other features, it allows the user to find out bus timetables, stops, calculate route durations, traffic conditions through public surveillance cameras, as well as information like how many available parking spaces there are at public car parks or where the nearest public bike points are.
