CLASSIC: POCA members meet regularly to travel Andalucia in their stunning cars.

THE Porsche Owners Club of Andalucia (POCA) will be celebrating its first anniversary on February 22 with a run through the hills and lunch in Marbella.

A 70-kilometre drive will conclude with a meal specially designed by Chef de Cuisine Ewald Fichthaler at Nueva Kaskada Restaurant in Marbella.

Annabel Milnes-Smith explained that the club was created in February 2014 by Gary Compson, a retired British Army Major, to bring like-minded Porsche owners and enthusiasts together.

More than 50 members of various nationalities, including British, Spanish, Scandinavian, Lithuanian, Belgian and Irish, meet for monthly rallies bringing family and friends along to share their love of Porsches while touring the countryside of Andalucia.

Events including trips to race tracks and testing days are also organised by the club.
