NERJA’s Youth Department has launched a radio workshop for residents aged between 14 and 35 years old.
Head of the department, Sandra Jimena, explained that the group would be formed by a maximum of 10 participants, who are interested in improving their communication skills. According to Ms Jimena, the workshop has been conceived to make the radio a more approachable media for young people, so that they can express themselves and their ideas through it.
The workshop’s theory part will take place on Mondays between 7.30pm and 9.30pm and will be conducted by CAUCE (Communication Services with Social Vision) at the Youth Information Centre.
The practical part will be held at Radio Juventud, which has offered its premises for the course.
Those interested in participating can sign up at the Youth Information Centre, located at calle Cristo, 12, first floor, or at 952 526 916, or juventud@nerja.es.
Minors will have to have permission from their parents or guardians.
