WATER reservoirs Cuber and Gorg Blau have received more than half a million cubic metres of water thanks to the snowfall in Serra de Tramuntana.

The snow and storms of last week have left up to 93 litres per square metre in Cuber and have contributed to a 5 per cent increase in the dam’s total reserve.

The Cuber reservoir is currently at 81.5 per cent of its total capacity, while it is estimated that the Gorg Blau is at 71 per cent.

Together, they hold a total of nine million cubic metres of dammed water.
