Costa council works to halt sewage leeks

ESTEPONA Council is carrying out work to stop sewage leeks on the motorway near the Kempinski hotel.

The work in the Residencial El Padron area to improve sewage collection and drainage is expected to take about one month and is being carried out by a local company.

Ana Velasco, councillor for tourism, infrastructure and development, explained that work to correct the problem was started as soon as it was brought to the council’s attention by the Seprona environment and nature branch of the Guardia Civil.
