Modern technology for Malaga hiking routes

MALAGA Provincial Council is to install innovative information points with WiFi and USB chargers along the coastal path, King’s Walkway and Great Path of Malaga.

The solar-powered posts will provide night lighting, tourist information and also serve as environmental monitors for air quality, temperature, humidity, wind and atmospheric pressure.

Fire detectors will also be included to provide an early warning system and will be hooked up to the internet to allow remote access by the provincial council or local councils and authorities.
