Children learn about road safety in Rincon de la Victoria

LOCAL POLICE in Rincon de la Victoria have begun their annual educational safety road courses for schoolchildren.

The courses are for pupils in the fourth year of primary school and were launched by Mayor Francisco Salado, together with the Education councillor, Lydia Montes, in the Gregorio Marañon school in La Cala del Moral.

“It is important for students to know and apply behaviour rules as pedestrians, or passengers of a car, for their safety and peace of mind of their parents,” said Mr Salado, who stressed the great success of the initiative, running now for the 11^th time.

The educational campaign will continue until April with a period of theory and a practical part, which will be conducted on a temporary children’s traffic park.
