A ROOF collapsed on one of the oldest houses in the Playa Lisa neighbourhood of Santa Pola, Costa Blanca.
The top-floor balcony came crashing down on the two-storey, beachside building in Avenida Vicente Blasco Ibañez.
No one was in the property at the time of the accident, but a man nearby was slightly injured after being hit by falling rubble.
Police have declared the property unfit for habitation and have cordoned off the area.
