Albox animal charity goes sponsored walkies

APSA (Animal Protection Society Albox) are having a sponsored dog walk on Sunday March 22 to raise much needed funds.

Participants should meet in the square opposite La Parrilla in Albox at 10am for a 10.30am start. The walk is over two distances, approximately five and seven kilometres long, heading towards Saliente along the Rambla.

If you don’t have a dog to walk, APSA can pair you with one if you let them know in the shop ahead of time. Sponsorship forms are available from the APSA shop on Avenida Lepanto, Albox.

Ted and Penny still need a forever home. Ted is a lovely little black dog that gets on with everyone he meets, including cats and other dogs. He is ready to go, is vaccinated and has been neutered.

Penny is a friendly little girl and her fosterers have generously offered to help towards the cost of vaccinations. Please ring 663 762 642.
