Online reputation of Balearic tourism could be better

THE online reputation of the Balearic Islands as a tourism destination lags behind other parts of Spain, a study says.

The islands have an average of 79.05 points out of 100, according to a report conducted by website trivago.es, which has analysed data for all provinces in Spain.

Palma de Mallorca, however, sits slightly higher than the islands’ average, with 80.49 points out of 100, but still far from the top of the list, where cities like Girona, Ronda or Santiago de Compostela can be found.
