GUARDIA CIVIL officers have arrested a Nijar man on suspicion of theft of metal doors and tools.
The man was arrested in connection with stolen items valued at an approximate €3,000. His vehicle, an Opel Corsa, was seen in the vicinity of the robbery, which enabled the officers to narrow their search while also visiting junkyards in Almeria to see if any identifiable goods had been sold.
They found three of the metal doors had indeed been sold at a junkyard by a man in an identical Opel Corsa.
The man and the case details have been referred to court for processing.
