EIGHTIES pop superstars Spandau Ballet have announced concerts in Spain as part of their Soulboys of the Western World Live tour.
On June 18 in Madrid and June 19 in Bilbao, Spandau Ballet will be visiting Spain with a third concert also pencilled in for Barcelona, the details of which have yet to be confirmed.
The group announced its return to the road with a tour starting in March following the release in the UK last October of Soulboys of the Western World, a documentary film on the group.
Once again the British band proved its popularity when tickets to the film’s premier at the Royal Albert Hall in London sold out in September.
The event was transmitted live by satellite to hundreds of cinemas in the UK and Ireland as the band reunited to reproduce songs known by many as hymns of a whole generation.
Tickets for the concerts in Madrid and Bilbao go on sale from 10am on Friday February 27 from www.livenation.es, www.ticketmaster.es, www.elcorteingles/entradas or www.entradas.com
