PODEMOS leader Pablo Iglesias decided to take a break from his busy agenda and make the leap from street demonstrations to glossy paper by posing for Vanity Fair.
The head of the Spanish anti-austerity party was photographed in Brussels by prestigious photographer Uxio Da Vila for the new edition of the magazine and found time to chat between carefully disciplined snaps.
Heavy make-up, his long locks well-sprayed into submission, an impeccable white shirt and boxing gloves were all part of Iglesias’ gear for the shoot, showing that glamour, luxury and fashion are not just for the upper classes he is quick to criticise, even if it was all a far cry from his usual style.
