ALFAZ DEL PI has set aside €36,000 for travel passes.

This is €10,000 more than last year, pointed out Mobility councillor, Isabel Davo. The town hall is committed to maintaining, developing and promoting the use of public transport and hopes to boost the existing arrangement with Llorente Bus, she said.

“We want to extend the existing advantages and reach an agreement with FGV so that the new passes also cover the tram,” Davo said.

A total of 365 travel passes have been given out since the scheme was introduced in 2012, Davo said. These offer discounts of between 28 and 50 per cent for the over 65s, the disabled, large families and young people.
