Marbella council spokerperson Feliz Romero.

NON-PROFIT associations in Marbella will be able to tap into a fund of €113,000 set up by the council.

News was announced by the local government’s spokesperson, Feliz Romero, who commented: “The financial aid will be distributed amongst associations that work to support certain social groups, such as children and families, dependent adults, people with drug and other addictions, disabled residents and those related to voluntary work, amongst others.”

He added that to access the fund, projects would have to work towards the integration of residents at risk of social exclusion, raising awareness on community issues or encouraging social voluntary work, amongst other conditions.
