AN ANCIENT skeleton has been found by archaeologists exploring the area around the cathedral in Malaga City.
The archaeologists, who are investigating before work begins to pedestrianise the area, have stated they believe the skeleton dates back to times of Moorish occupation of the city due to the level it was found at.
Remains of the Moorish Wall of the city and 17th century docks have also been discovered since the team began digging in the Cortina del Muella and Postigo de los Abades areas last December.
