TO cope with the growing popularity of coffee machines using capsules, a new recycling point for the disposal of used coffee pods has been placed at the Industrial Site Son Castello in Palma.
The Industrial Site, located at Calle Gremi Sucrers i Candeliers, now has two containers earmarked for disposing of coffee capsules of any kind made out of metal or plastic,
This new collecting system is the result of an agreement signed by EMAYA (Municipal Company of Water and Sewage systems) and Nestle in Spain.
Nestle has committed to emptying the containers at least once a month and taking care of the appropriate disposal of the capsules.
The recycling units can be used seven days a week, between 8am and 8pm.
