A PUBLIC school in the Santa Catalina district of Palma has received €9,000 from a social project launched by La Caixa bank.
The aid is earmarked to fund school supplies and other expenditures for children with families going through financial difficulties.
La Caixa emphasised its will to continue developing social programmes, overcome childhood poverty, to encourage employment amongst communities at risk of social exclusion and provide attention to people with diseases, amongst other projects.
