A 14-YEAR-OLD football player suffered a heart attack while playing a match in Palma.
The boy passed out on the San Francisco football field near the Son Castello Industrial Site.
One of the coaches who was present and was also a nurse began administering first aid with a defibrillator, after which a Unit of Immediate Intervention (UII) of the Local Police attended and performed artificial resuscitation.
Ambulance staff then treated him and him to the hospital Son Espases, where he underwent several tests and remained hospitalised.
