TWO Romanian men have been jailed for 11 years for tying and locking up owners of homes they broke into to burgle.
The pair broke into two homes in Fuengirola, tying up the couple that lived in the first before making off with €700 cash and €5,880 worth of jewellery.
A month later the men broke into the home of an elderly lady and locked her in the bathroom for two hours while they stole €3,000 in cash and €3,360 worth of jewellery and other items.
Although the men denied having been involved in the events, a Malaga court found them guilty taking into account evidence against them and the statements given by police investigators.
