1,000 ways to be happy

COSTA Calida-Murcia Region Makes You Happy is a new campaign launched to attract visitors to the area.

Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation delegate Juan Carlos Ruiz announced the launch of the campaign, which is due to run on local and national press until Easter.

Spanish household faces, including economist Eduard Punset, who leads the Smile Community, and celebrities from Murcia including Carlos Santos, Pepa Aniorte, Nico Almagro and Paco Nadal along with anonymous citizens have left their thoughts on things in Murcia that make them happy.

The messages are included on a website, 1,000 ways to be happy (http://1000manerasdeserfeliz.com), where Punset explains that Murcia is: “A community that smiles at visitors,” and has added his keys to happiness.

Each message derives in a list of suggestions on how to find happiness in Murcia. The aim is to gather 1,000 suggestions from anyone wishing to join in, and include all the region’s tourist attractions and activities, the delegate explained.
