Truck overturns in Marbella

A LORRY overturned this morning (March 5) on the A-7 motorway near Marbella, causing long tailbacks.

The accident happened at about 4.15am at kilometre number 192, at the Las Chapas exit, when the vehicle swerved across the road, crashed against the central reservation and rolled over, for reasons still unknown.   

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The two lanes of the road towards Cadiz had to be closed to perform cleaning works and move the lorry away.

At around 8.25am, one of the lanes was reopened to traffic.
