FRIGILIANA Council has organised a hiking route to Cerro Torrecilla (Sierra de las Nieves) for March 14.
The trip will depart from Frigiliana by bus at 7am, and will drop participants in Los Quejigales, at 1,282 metres of altitude, where the hike will begin.
In total, 15 kilometres will be covered until Cerro Torrecilla at 1,919 metres of altitude, the second highest in this natural park.
The hike is expected to last until 6pm.
Inscriptions are €20 and include the bus trip. Those interested in participating can apply at at 952 534 483 or by e-mail at deportes@frigiliana.es.
The organisation wished to remind those interested to wear appropriate clothing and equipment for the route, carrying water and food, sunscreen, raincoat, appropriate footwear, sun glasses and walking sticks.
