A MISSING boat with 11 migrants on board was found this morning (March 12) in the Straits of Gibraltar.

The Atria and Alkaid rescue ships had been sent out in search of the boat, which left Tangiers at 3am, after an NGO reported that it had gone missing.

The migrants were found 3.5 miles offshore from Punta Carnero at 10.05am by the rescue ship, which took them to Algeciras port.
