Annual Prize Giving Dinner for Mijas Bowls Club

MiIJAS BOWLS CLUB held their annual dinner at, the Nuestro Bar in Los Boliches.  Fifty members and friends attended for thw dinner and the prize presentation for the In – House competitions.

The first to be presented were to the winners of the Drawn Triples, namely Tony Thornton, Bill Gregory and Wilf Newman, followed by the finalists Hal Briscoe, Clive Thomas and Val Thornton. Next to receive their awards were the Drawn Pairs winners Tony Land and Stuart Parkin and the finalists Geoff Hutton and Ann Fenton. Last, but by no means least came the presentations to the Men’s and Ladies’ Singles winners, Bill Gregory and Barbara Land, along with the finalists Hal Briscoe and Val Thornton.

The club days are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 1.30 for 2.00pm and Sunday mornings at 10.00 for 10.30am.
