Green light for road improvements

A PROJECT to create an extra lane on a busy stretch of the old N340 to reduce traffic jams has been approved by the Environmental Ministry.

A four kilometre stretch of the MA21 between Los Alamos in Torremolinos and Malaga City where traffic jams occur almost on a daily basis, especially in the summer months, will be affected by work to create a fourth lane and bus stops will be repositioned to encourage use of public transport.
