THE number of passengers who used the underground service of Palma de Mallorca increased by 1,000 users in January, if compared with the same month of 2013.
In total, 132,000 users travelled by underground in January, according to the data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
This figure represents a 0.4 per cent growth so far this year, the third highest increase in national terms, after the Sevilla underground (3.8 per cent) and Barcelona’s (0.9 per cent).
