A MAN swerved violently off the Llevant motorway in Palma after his car was hit by a rock thrown from a bridge in the area of s’Arenal.

The incident took place at around 6pm. After that, the man took the next exit and stopped his car to try and find the attacker. He alerted the Local Police of Palma and Guardia Civil officers who began searching around the area but could not find the perpetrator.

It is not the first time that an incident like this one has occurred in the roads of Palma.

The most severe one happened back in December of 2014, when a 54-year-old woman was hit in the face with a large rock which had been also thrown from a bridge and broke her nose and several other bones.
