RESIDENTIAL complexes in Malaga City are being warned to watch out for burglars after recent reports of ‘bumping.’
Two homeowners from a city urbanisation have reported theft of valuable watches and jewellery after burglars used the method, involving a special master key which is bumped with a screwdriver, to enter their homes. The only sign someone had broken in was the fact that the front doors were not locked when the owners got home.
One of the affected families reported that two 100-year-old family heirlooms, Patek Philippe watches, had been stolen.
