AS the 2015 Geneva Motor Show draws to a close we take a look back at the stars of the week.
All eyes were on the Palexpo Centre in Geneva this year in anticipation of the world’s biggest and shiniest car show. Mouths watered and palms were sweating as the doors opened, and the general public were invited in by the global motoring industry.
This year’s offerings from the plethora of famous, and not so famous car manufacturers didn’t disappoint the waiting public. On view were incredible machines such as the Honda Civic Type-R, Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6, Audi R8, Kia Sport space, and the Ferrari 488GTB. One of the most popular surprises was the new Aston Martin DBX Crossover concept, which would tell us that the famous sports car builder is looking to break into the 4×4 market.
The Koenigsegg Regera had to be one of the main highlights of the show. It featured the traditional 5.0 litre V8 coupled to three electronic motors for a total figure of 1,500 hp. Even with its hefty price tag, apparently four have been sold already with a further 80 up for grabs as part of a production run. Want one? The price is 1.8 million USD!
