THE results are in after the recent shooting championships and Olympic trap competition organised as a joint operation between the Guardia Civil and the town of Gador.
The national Guardia Civil competition, hosted at Gador’s Centro de Tiro de los Juegos Mediteraneos, ran from March 10 to March 13. Various police officers performed solo and in teams to grab the titles.
A total of 30 officers took part in the shooting games while also having extra training sessions and spending time with officers from across Spain.
The winning team of the 21st edition of the shooting championship was the Guardia Civil from Castilla-La Mancha while Extremadura Guardia Civil officer Juan de Mata Medina, who is now stationed in Toledo, scooped the top spot in the individual category.
