THE British National Crime Agency has released details of ten of Britain’s most wanted criminals, all thought to be hiding in Spain and mainly on the Spanish Costas.

In an operation known as ‘Captura,’ police are appealing to residents and travellers in Spain to give any information that may lead to the arrests of these ten individuals.

The ten includes Shane Walford, who was convicted of the manslaughter of a firefighter and father-of-two at a bar in Coventry. Walford was released on licence in January 12, but having failed to attend appointments with a supervising officer, the licence has been revoked and he has been recalled to prison.

Many of the ten men, who have been accused or convicted of crimes ranging from manslaughter, rape, assault and drug smuggling, are still thought to be a considerable danger to the public. British Police, working together with Spanish security services, want to find and extradite these men as soon as is possible.

Operation Captura is part of ongoing push to track down British criminals hiding in a part of Europe that is still considered an easy refuge for UK criminals by the Spanish fugitive unit.

Detailed information and photos regarding each of the ten criminals is available on the UK Crimestoppers Website and phone-number.
