AMANCIO Ortega, owner of Inditex, is having a good week. In a press conference given this morning the owner of the chain, which includes the high street clothing brands Zara and Bershka, said that profits had risen 5 per cent over the last year.
The company is expanding worldwide with net profits for the company reaching €2.5 billion over the last financial year.
Ortega, who is considered Spain’s richest man, saw his wealth pass the €60 billion mark on Monday as a result Inditex’s share price rises.
