AN RNLI lifeboat crew saved two Spanish tourists from drowning in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The lifeboat was launched from the Tower Bridge station at 1.30am Tuesday following a call to the Temple Pier area, where they successfully pulled the two drowning men to safety from the icy water.
They also rescued a local worker who had initially jumped in to help the tourists, but had got into difficulties himself. All three men were quickly taken to hospital, one suffering from hypothermia.
