Solar subsidies from Valencia

French small-scale solar scheme gets EU backing

French small-scale solar scheme gets EU backing.

EnREAL are the experts in renewable energies for the home, and here they give their advice on some of the grants available.

Last December the next seven year campaign (2014 – 2020) of EU grants from Valencia came up.

In detail, this means for you:

Photovoltaics (PV) and windmills: grants in case of off-grid properties. PV and windmills on buildings connected to the grid, will neither get subsidies, nor a remuneration for the electricity generated.

Solarthermal (central heating): subsidies in case of solar central heating for all new or older home. If the solar plant is also generating warm water, you will get subsidies in case of older builings (>2006). For new buildings, the warm water fraction of the solar project will be neglected.

Residents and non-residents may expect up to 45 per cent subsidies.

The amount of grants will be known after the project has been handed in and approved in Valencia. However, in the last 12 years our clients got up to 50 per cent subisidies, which have all been fully paid.
