Malaga embezzler avoids jail

AN ADMINISTRATIVE worker found guilty of embezzlement has been given a much lighter sentence than proposed, with a four-and-a-half-month ban from working as a civil servant and a €540 fine.

Although the prosecution initially requested a six-year jail sentence, the fact that the man had admitted that he forged a Malaga City councillor’s signature to get his hands on almost €5,000 in 2007, which he later gave back, caused the judge to agree to a reduced sentence.

It seems there is nojustice anywhere – not UK and not in Spain. It’s no wonder criminals do not fear getting caught any-more!
