Shane Walford
WANTED British criminal, Shane Walford, was arrested in the Canary Islands on Saturday as a result of Operation Captura.
Walford had previously been imprisoned for manslaughter in 2010 after killing fireman Paul Gibbons outside a bar in Coventry. He was released after serving half of his sentence, but this was later rescinded when he broke the terms of his release.
Operation Captura is a collaboration between British and Spanish authorities to track down a list of ‘most wanted’ UK criminals and suspects thought to be on the run in Spain.
