Antonio Banderas to launch Malaga’s Piccadilly-style screen

MALAGA actor Antonio Banderas will be switching on a new giant LED screen at the El Corte Ingles store on Malaga City’s Avenida Andalucia tomorrow evening, March 27.

Planned for 8pm, the event will include a screening featuring another popular local man, singer Pablo Alboran, as he meets fans in the store.

The screen, the largest in Andalucia with an area of 140 square metres, will show El Corte Ingles advertisements and also city information of use to the public.

The management said in a statement that the screen aims to be Malaga’s version of those found in Times Square in New York or Piccadilly Circus in London.
