LADIES CLUB: Committee members donate €200 to each of the five chosen charities.
FIVE Costa Blanca South charities have received donations of €200 each, thanks to the Tuesday Ladies Club.
The ladies who lunch have once again opened their coffers and generously donated a total of €1,000 to the charities – DEBRA butterfly children, AECC, Paul Cunningham Nurses, K9 and the Needy of San Fulgencio.
Representatives from the charities all received their cheques, thanking the group at their weekly meeting at the Hillside in urbanisation La Marina for their generosity, which will help them continue the vital work each charity does.
Established for around 10 years, the ladies’ group raises the funds through their weekly subscriptions, which are used to subsidise days out, trips and events, but once or twice a year, a large amount is also donated to local charities.
