Santa Maria to host wine event

SANTA MARIA in Palma, will host this year’s ‘Wine Days,’ an event to promote wine-related activities and tourism.

Mayor of the town Rosa Vich together with other council representatives, presented the event which will take place between May 2 and 10 and will gather a wide variety of activities organised by wineries and councils of the area.

“We want to boost the tourism potential of the region using wine as the key element,” said a council representative.

“This event is an opportunity to show what Santa Maria really is: a town characterised by its wine, which is part of all our artistic, social and cultural manifestations,” said the mayor.
