EASTER in Marbella has been certified for the second year running as a ‘heart-friendly’ event by the Spanish Medicine and Safety in the Workplace Society.
The Civil Protection volunteers posted about town during Holy Week processions are equipped with 11 semi-automatic defibrillators, and have received training on how to correctly use the life-saving equipment in case of emergencies involving heart failure.
