ENGLISH is to feature more prominently in schools across the Valencia Region.
The president of the regional government and the People’s Party of Valencia, Alberto Fabra, has announced that during the next term the regional government wants “if possible” to have 80 per cent of the classes in more than 70 schools, done entirely in English, “in order to increase future opportunities for all students.”
Speaking about the education proposals in the PP’s electoral programme, Fabra also promised more money for the Erasmus programme and grants and to enhance the number of skilled professionals to offer “specific care for students with more learning difficulties.”
