Benidorm tackles the Generalitat for hospital expansion

BENIDORM Town Hall has tabled a motion to the Generalitat Valenciana regional government requesting urgent expansion to Villa Joyosa hospital, citing WHO recommendations of 1.3 beds per thousand inhabitants. 

Regionally the figure is 2.69 and nationally 3.49: WHO recommends 8/1000 population. A free public car park is also requested to prevent congestion.
