MALAGA-Costa del Sol Airport is gearing up for a busier year than ever.

As visitors started to arrive for their Easter holidays, Aena airport authorities announced that a total of 69,300 flights offering almost 12 million seats have been planned by airlines to connect the Costa del Sol to 127 different airports.

Compared to last year, which broke the records for visiting tourists, 1.5 per cent more flights will be offering 2.1 per cent more seats from now until October as the tourism industry hopes for an even better year.

The UK is still top of the list for flights to and from the Costa, with 48 different routes on offer.
