Costa scores top marks with tourists

VISITORS last year gave the Costa del Sol 8.4 out of 10 for quality, a new report has revealed.

Equalled only by Almeria, the coast was given top marks by visitors asked to rate their stays, with special mentions going to food, trips and outings and a great welcome.

Visitors from the UK and Germany, where the majority of Costa tourists come from, rated the area as top class.

Costa del Sol tourist board president Elias Bendodo stressed the importance of customer satisfaction, explaining that the more visitors enjoy their stay, the more likely they are to return.

Overall, 95 per cent of visitors said their experience had been positive or very positive and praised the climate, the beaches and the hospitality, and when asked to describe something they were not satisfied with about their trip, half the visitors were unable to think of anything at all.
