Malaga Police recover stolen phones and make arrests

MALAGA Police have arrested 17 people for theft and reception of stolen goods.

Upon investigating reports of a number of thefts of mobile phones and electronic items, police officers discovered an advertisement for extremely cheap, top quality items, which led them to the western part of the city.

A total of 13 people were arrested for stealing goods, and another four for receiving the stolen items.

An electronic tablet and 16 mobile phones were recovered during the police operation, 10 of which have now been returned to their rightful owners.
