THE Balearic Islands regional government will provide financial aid to companies that hire people with disabilities.
The Economy Department of the regional government has pledged to help businesses with up to €3,907 per employee, as long as they offer a full-time job with a permanent contract.
“One of our priorities is to boost vulnerable communities,” said General Director for Work and Employment Health, Onofre Ferrer, who added: “We want to encourage stability at work and a quality employment.”
The total budget for the initiative amounts to €225,000, and the period to sign up is open until October 31.
